Every t-shirt you buy supports an art kit for one child! Paint Love knows that- especially in times of crisis- ART IS ESSENTIAL! During these unprecedented times, art and creativity have become more important than ever: as a way to de-stress and have fun, as a healthy coping mechanism, a way to connect with others, and even show your support for workers and loved ones. Paint Love works with youth facing poverty and trauma, so most of the kids we serve do not even have basic supplies like crayons and printer paper at home, so while we are shifting our model to create intentionally themed art project guides online for our community, many of the families we serve cannot access these resources. For every ART IS ESSENTIAL t-shirt you buy, you support one art supply kit that contains everything a child needs for TEN fun projects that have intentional, trauma-informed themes like self-confidence, emotional regulation, and connection for families, plus endless creative expression and creativity, each lovingly assembled by a Paint Love staff member and distributed to the youth we serve. Due to COVID-19, Paint Love's annual fundraiser has been postponed and established corporate sponsorships and individual donors are no longer in a place to provide the support we rely on.
