Restaurants and bars are about people: people celebrating, people mourning, people breaking bread and people simply enjoying each others' company. That has been forever altered by COVID-19. Though we aren't able to take care of people in our establishments, it doesn't mean that we can't do what we do best: take care of our people. It's for that reason that we have decided to start a fund to assist those in our restaurant family who are unable to apply for government assistance such as unemployment. These people are our industry's backbone, our heart-beat. We need to make sure that they, too, are taken care of.
